‘Startup Grind’ Event

Last night I attended a Startup Grind event for the first time! The event was held at a co-working space by the name of SPACES in Santa Monica. Marcel Salapa and the Startup Grind team did a fantastic job putting together this event, speaker Alex Banayan (author of the book The Third Door) was so great people were crowded sitting on the stairs just to listen. Banayan did a wonderful job discussing how entrepreneurs must remain resilient throughout moments of rejection in their startup journeys. To top it all off, I also tried a delicious peanut butter coconut cookie by Emmy’s Organics – overall, it was a great experience!

Volunteering at the Downtown Women’s Center

We made a baked pesto chicken, oven-roasted grape tomatoes with zucchini, romaine salad, and fruit salad for the ladies to enjoy!
